All Liquid Tinctures (homeopathic, herbal, flower remedy, phenolic):
1. Follow the instructions on your schedule
2. Drops are counted as a single drop, not a full dropper.
3. Herbs can be taken in a small amount of water if the taste is too strong for you
4. Homeopathic remedies are best absorbed under the tongue, so hold them 10 to 20 seconds before swallowing. It is not necessary to hold herbal remedies under your tongue. You should simply swallow them.
5. Unless otherwise directed, you may mix your drops and take them all at once. However, if you have a large number of drops to take you may divide them and take half at a time.
6. All drops should be taken at least 20 minutes before or after eating or using any type of mint or cinnamon product as it will reduce the effectiveness of the drops. This includes toothpaste, mouthwash, gum or food items.
7. If you are sensitive to the alcohol in the tinctures, you may take your remedy in one of two ways:
• Put the drops in a small amount of warm water and let the alcohol evaporate off for 15 minutes and then drink the drops in the water
• You may put the drops on your thigh and let them absorb through the skin
Capsule or Tablet Supplements:
1. Follow the instructions on your schedule.
2. If you have difficulty swallowing tablets or capsules, they can be crushed or broken apart and put into food or water/juice.
3. Unless otherwise directed, take vitamins and enzymes with meals.
** If you are unsure about something, please call Salveo Holistic Wellness for further instructions. Please let us know about any unusual symptoms while taking the supplements so we can make adjustments. However, if you have a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately.
